Stargate switch

OK, so I want the switch as they have it in Stargate! Just move the hand near it, and that's it!

I'm implementing it with IR led + IR sensor. 

Still to figure out:
* Some transparent (to IR) casing?
* IR led and sensor "tunnel" to isolate them nicely
