First version of my stargate switch.

IR sensor: It receives a modulated IR signal (usually of 38kHz or nearby; hence the need for modulation circuit for IR LED). The sensor is active low. For exact pinout consult the datasheet (ie. sfh 5110), or play a bit, and test it with a TV remote.

To check IR led works, you can test it with a digital camera.

The switch detects hand at distace up to 10-15 cm.

My text is just fine :-P
