Fridge fix

There, i fixed it.

What's this all about?

My old refrigerator stopped working properly, so an action had to be taken in order to prevent my kielbasas from being hurt.

Rule of operation

Complicated stuff. Apply supply voltage to the compressor and the fridge is being cooled down. Pure digital technology, yeah!

What failed?

The compressor was being constantly turned on. The caused parts usage, constant noise of operation and all of the products inside frozen constantly.

How I fixed it?

• 

  The mechanical driver originaly installed.

• 

  Wireing: Brown wire is the 230VAC supply phase (split into the driver and the lamp). Blue wire is supply neutral line (for the lamp). Yellow/green wire is the shielding/ground protection line and the white coated wire is the driver's temperature sensor...

• 

  The new driver. I have removed the old driver and short-circuited brown and black wires from it. Now the compressor is always ON when the 230VAC is supplied.

• 

  Complicated calculation have been made to figure out a proper driving algo. In the end, 30min idle and 15min cooling turned out to be just fine.

Is it good now?

I made few tests to check out if it's okay now:

• Temperature measurements in various places in the fridge proved it being okay.
• Beer from the fridge easily went down my throat.

There can be only one conclusion: IT WORKS.
